Leigh’s award winning work ranges from directing, designing and animating for broadcast to directing her own short films. Some of Leigh’s most notable TV projects include her role as contributing Director on the Children’s BBC Newsround special ‘The Wrong Trainers’ highlighting UK child poverty. Leigh also art directed the first series of Tiger Aspects utterly charming ‘Charlie and Lola’ series. More recently, Leigh designed and directed the mouse sketches in the first series of Channel 4’s cult comedy ‘Fonejacker’.

Her last four films – Flighty, Stalk, Moo(n) and Novelty, garnered critical acclaim from award giving bodies such as British Animation Awards to festivals including Sundance, ResFest and Edinburgh International Film Festival.

Leigh studied Animation Direction at the National Film and Television School and is a director at Slinky Pictures. In addition to her animation work, she writes and illustrates children’s picture books which have been translated and published around the world. Her third book ‘Smile’ is out this year.
